WordPress Live projects were in hot demand by our valued subscribers and #WPSpartans300. In this tutorial, Saad Ali starts with an in depth explanation of Freelancing Earning Scope with just tiny projects such as Website Speed, Virus Removal, Bug Fixing etc. He mentions the range of earning from 20 to 250 bucks. According to him, it totally depends on freelancers’ expertise, profile ranking, and yes … luck… well, sometimes.
He took one of his Fiverr Clients website to demonstrate different steps. First of all, he analysed the website with the help of GTMetrix, a well known tool and free utility along with Google Pagespeed Insight. Then he started taking practical steps such as:
1) Image Optimization. He used online tool to decrease image size and optimize. https://imagecompressor.com/. His step by step explanation will definitely help you start your own Speed related projects and enable you to sell your services online in the same field.
2) He demonstrated how to install and configure the following plugins : WP fastest cache, File Manager. he also mentioned All in One WP Migration also.
3) He took care of : Leverage browser cache, expire headers, http requests, page load time and speed and html, js, css minification as per pagespeed and Yslow parameters.
4) The starting page size was more than 6 MB. After speed treatment, the load was under 3 MB. Likewise, the speed time and other speed ranking factors were also enhanced.
Overall, it was a good project for freelancers from Pakistan and India. I believe it would help them earn the dignified way.
