CorelDRAW PowerCLIP Pro Level Techniques with Custom Keyboard Shortcut and practical examples explained in Urdu and Hindi.
This is second second tutorial in the CorelDRAW Graphics Suite 2018 Pro Series. This tutorial is all about Power Clip. What is it? How, why and when to use the power of powerclip in corel draw? How can we create and assign custom keyboard shortcut to be more efficient. Along the way, we did experiment with shapes, text and bitmap including drop shadow, envelop tool and transparency etc.
First we started our discussion with the importance of powerclip in professional projects. It behaves very much like Adobe Photoshop’s Clipping plus Smart Objects plus masking. When we right click on an object, we can select Powerclip inside or we can go to object menu and select it from there as well. We can also create a empty powerclip frame to speed up the process. In our freelancing career, these tips and shortcuts are always very productive.
We also discussed about different keyboard shortcuts such as:
1) Ctrl + Click inside powerclip to edit the content. Once done, we can ctrl + click outside the container.
2) We can also press ALT and click on powerclip content directly, and it will let us edit.
3) We can edit or extract the content by right clicking or going to object menu and selecting it from there.
We also went to coreldraw options panel. Keyboard shortcut is Ctrl + J. We explored PowerClip related features. Then we created a custom keyboard shortcut and assigned it to powerclip inside action from the commands section. Then we experimented with text and textures.
PowerClip in CorelDRAW is very productive in having crisp vector results. If corners of a bitmap are blurry, we can put that within a vector container and it will give us crisp sharp corners.
And a lot many graphic design related tips, techniques and secrets as always.
Wish you good luck in your learning endeavors and freelancing career.
