Well elaborated, in-depth Urdu – Hindi tutorial in our playlist “All CorelDRAW Tools Explained”. Started with Crop Tool that we can access from the Corel DRAW tool box. As the name tells, it is used to crop shapes (vectors), text objects and bitmaps. Its usage is not complicated; however, we need to select the shape or object that we want to crop in prior. We can also clear cropping area from the property bar. We discussed its angle of rotation. As always, we did practice on shapes, text and bitmap (that we imported in the CorelDRAW with the help of CTRL + i (Keyboard Shortcut).

Then we moved on to Knife Tool. This tool was recently upgraded and enhanced with brand new and powerful features including:

1) Two Point Line Mode
2) Freehand Mode
3) Bezier Mode
4) Auto Close on Cut
5) Gap or Overlay (with Width feature)
6) Automattic or Outline Objects etc.

We practiced knife tool on word ‘beauty’, basic shapes and a bitmap that we imported, to understand all new features. No keyboard shortcut is assigned by default; however, we can assign one if need be so.

Then we talked about Virtual Segment Delete Tool. It’s interesting and can be of great help with the help of weld, merge, or shape tool’s join nodes features. We can create logos of abstract form and other creative stuff by deleting segments as per own choice.

Fourth Tool that we discussed in this tutorial is Eraser Tool. Its keyboard shortcut is letter ‘X’. Eraser Tool has circular and square brush tips. It also has Pen Pressure (Nib Tilt or Bearing with angle ) feature for Stylus / pressure sensitive devices etc. Last feature is Reduce Nodes.

Our two next tools were:

1) Zoom Tool in CorelDRAW and Pan Tool

The keyboard shortcut for zoom is letter ‘z’ and for pan , it is letter ‘h’.

We shared pro tips that professional graphic designers use daily to be more efficient. We discussed a few keyboard shortcuts to zoom in and zoom out , to fit to page (as per width and height) etc. We talked about mouse wheel, Ctrl ++ (to zoom in) and Ctrl — to zoom out. We press key F4 to fit to page, and when we are fully zoomed in, we can use navigator or press Shift + F2. Likewise, we also talked about how to zoom in on selected text or object. And much more as always.

In the end, we talked about Pan Tool and tried to explore how to use it. We believe this tutorial in particular and other CorelDRAW tutorials in Urdu – Hindi will help Freelancers and CorelDRAW designers to learn and explore this vector program at their best.
